2021 Tax Season
At this time, all appointments for the 2021 tax season are scheduled remotely. Schedule online, call 2-1-1, or call our front desk at 734-971-8200. Appointments start February 1. However, we will not be filing any returns until February 12. We are offering two different service models:
You will submit all tax documents and forms to us using a self guided intake website. You will need access to a scanner, a smartphone, or a tablet that can take pictures. Once your documents are submitted, we will call you to review, and will then prepare your taxes. A copy of your return will be mailed to you.
Scan & Go
Partner Scan & Go sites will be located across Washtenaw County for your convenience. A list of Scan & Go sites and their locations will be available when scheduling your appointment
Limited Scan & Go dropoff appointments will be available. If you do not have the equipment or computer access to upload your documents, you can schedule to come to one of our locations to have all your documents scanned. Forms will be mailed to you ahead of time, and must be filled out before your appointment.
NOTE: For both options you MUST have a working phone
VITA clients must present all required tax documents to maximize their tax benefits and file an accurate return. View our Document Checklist to be sure of what to bring.
