United Way has established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to ensure nonprofits and groups can ensure people and families in need can access food, housing, health care, financial resources and other supports. Led by United Way in partnership with corporate, nonprofit and foundation entities, this fund will allow us to rapidly deploy resources to organizations working with populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial focus will be on rapid response in support of front-line agencies providing services to our most vulnerable populations.

In Washtenaw County, 39 percent of families struggle to afford their basic needs. With the COVID-19 pandemic, in our communities, these families are particularly in danger.

Our 2-1-1 helpline is available by phone, text or live chat 24 hours a day to connect people with the resources they need in times of crisis.
