Loaned Executive Program

The Loaned Executive Program allows your company's employees to expand their skills by acting as account managers, with United Way of Washtenaw County staff, to plan and implement the annual fundraising campaign. These individuals are appointed by their employers to assist with the annual United Way of Washtenaw County fundraising campaign from mid-August through completion (approximately 3-4 months). Working with United Way staff, they coordinate and manage effective employee campaigns at participating businesses throughout Washtenaw County.

Loaning an employee to United Way

The Loaned Executive Program makes it possible for United Way of Washtenaw County to keep its overhead costs low, while educating, inspiring, and motivating your employees to invest in our community. Loaned Executives come from all areas of the workforce, including middle management, clerical, organized labor, and even retirees. You may select as many employees as you wish to participate in the program. Throughout the campaign, they will develop valuable contacts and experience as they contribute their time and talents to its success. We will work with you to assign your Loaned Employee to an area that best suits his or her strengths.
